GTA 6: Game to be unveiled with 5 December trailer
One of the most highly anticipated games of a generation is one step closer to being released.
Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto 6 will be unveiled in a trailer on 5 December at 1400 GMT.
However, it is still unknown when the game itself will be released.
Despite this, many fans are excited, and Rockstar's post on X announcing the trailer launch has already had 26 million views in just under two hours.
It has been 10 years since Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto 5, which is the second best-selling video game ever behind Minecraft, having sold more than 185 million copies.

It is likely that Rockstar Games has been working on GTA 6 for a number of years, but it first confirmed the game was in production in February 2022.
Previously the gaming giant's president Sam Houser said the December release for the trailer was intended to coincide with its 25th anniversary.
Meanwhile, Rockstar has separately announced a deal with Netflix to bring several of its titles to the streaming giant's gaming offering.
GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas – all much-beloved by gamers – will be made available to Netflix subscribers on mobile devices on 14 December.
Long wait
The first game in the series was launched in 1997, and though this will be the sixth main entry in the series, there have been several spin-offs and releases on different platforms.
Rumours about the game have been a mainstay of popular culture for the past decade, with fans facing an unexpectedly lengthy wait.
GTA IV launched in 2008, with GTA V following five years later – but there were two major single-player expansion packs published in the interim.
The wait may have something to do with GTA Online, the multiplayer version of the game which is believed to make hundreds of millions of dollars for the company each year.
Its popularity is such that GTA V has been re-released several times, and has appeared on three separate generations of home consoles.
